Regarding the teaching of classes for the new semester for the specified reading materials and audiovisual resources for students, the library provides procurement and related lending services for the “Course Reference Books and Course Reserves” for the first semester of the 2025 academic year as described below:\n

        1. Course Reserves: This includes both books and audiovisual materials, which will be placed in the library’s “First Floor Multi-Functional Area,” with a borrowing period set until the end of the semester. Students can check the catalog<\/a> by course name or faculty’s name; borrowing is limited to in-library use for a duration of 3 hours per time in order to ensure fair access to required readings.

        2. Course Reference Books: Primarily in book format. These will be placed in the “Third Floor Course Reference Books Area” of the library, with borrowing methods and periods identical to those of general books.

        3. The library has a collection of over one million Chinese and Western e-books, and faculty members are encouraged to use these for lesson preparation and as course materials, providing links for enrolled students in the iLearn course syllabus.
          Please use your NID account to log in to the           Easy Search System<\/a> to access these e-books. Additionally, it is recommended to use Chinese e-book databases such as Hyread ebook, UDN Reading Room, and iRead ebooks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. If there is a need for public broadcast audiovisual materials due to course or teaching activities, faculty members are encouraged to utilize the “Classroom Cinema Public Broadcasting Platform” electronic database. Please log in to the Easy Search system<\/a> using your NID account to access the electronic database, and open the platform through the resource URL found in your search. Then, select automatic IP login at the top right to view approximately 230 films online covering diverse themes and educational significance, including domestic films, animations, and award-winning foreign films.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. For any books or resources applied for that are not available in the library, priority will be given to purchasing them, without limiting the quantity recommended. To align with course schedules, please ensure that submitted materials are as complete and accurate as possible, facilitating the library’s prompt processing of book orders and acquisitions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
